Up at 5:45am, bright and too damn early. Mail, web, workout, and the rest of the usual morning nonsense. Headed off to work just before 9am, and got there just after 9am. Decent commute, for a Monday.
Did the usual Monday morning rebuild of work state. As always, by the time state was reconstituted, was sorry I'd bothered. Plugged away at this and that and played King Canute with the incoming tickets and the spam flood.
Early lunch, for no good reason, then out to the mirror site in the afternoon. Fought various bits of network gear for a few hours, and then finally figured out one problem -- which needed to be fixed by the guy that had left 30 minutes prior. Cussed a bit, then packed up and headed back to work.
Caught up on mail, made a overly ambitious task list, and ran out to grab dinner. Post-dinner, started working my way through the task list. Four or five hours later, had managed to knock quite a few things off of it. Headed for home around 10:30pm, reasonably pleased with myself.
Home around 11pm. Caught up with TheWife briefly, considered doing a spot of reading, but decided to drop dead instead -- asleep before 11:30pm.
