Up at 5am, with the idea that I'd get into work early and then be able to come home early and do more painting. Did the normal morning stuff, sans exercise, and was out the door at 7:30am -- a good 1.5 to 2 hours earlier than normal. Thanks to hellish traffic, I got to work at 8:30am -- basically, an hour early. Not worth the pain, one little bit.
Knocked off a few things in the morning, got a few status updates, and then it was lunch time before I knew it. Might have lapsed into unconsiousness at some point. Normal weekly meeting. Went a bit aggro on some developers, but it worked out okay in the end. Short meeting, as those things go, so I did a few other things, and then headed home around 5pm.
TheWife had done the spot priming that was needed earlier in the day, so I was able to start putting on the second coat of the red. I'm really not liking this paint; it's thin and runny and it's very hard to tell what it's going to finally look like when you're putting it on. It looks sort of like we'll need a third coat, but could be fine in the morning, once it's dried a bit.
Done with the painting around 9:30am. Watched a bit of TV and caught up on mail and stuff, and then bed, around 11:30pm.
