Day one of the Mr. Mom run. Up at 6am. Read mail, browsed web, grabbed shower. TheBaby woke up while I was getting ready, so that worked out okay. Got her ready, dropped her off at the day care, and ran right into the worst traffic I've seen in months. Took 1+ hour to get to work.
Relatively normal day. Only oddity: special guest at 2pm meeting, big brain from Intel. Apparently I'm NDA'd, so further I sayeth not. Pulled out of that meeting around 3:45 due to a network problem. Main network guy was off (it was his birthday today). Much running around in headless chicken mode. Secondary network guy fixed problem. Much mail flew around. Left work around 4:30pm, and managed to pick up TheBaby at 5:20pm.
Dealt with a second, totally unrelated problem in the evening, then rustled up dinner (okay, I ordered a pizza). Post-dinner, played in the yard a bit, then bath, story, and bed. Read a bit more myself, and then hit the sack, around 11pm.
