Day two of the Mr. Mom adventure. Morning basically like before: quick mail skim, quick web skim, shower. Had to dink around a bit, as TheBaby wasn't waking up at her normal time. Finally "encouraged" a wake up around 7:45am. Got her ready to go, and dropped her off at day care around 8am.
Commute today as unbelievably good as yesterday's was unbelievably bad: into work around 8:30am. Pretty normal day: did some work, went to some meetings.
Headed home around 4:30pm, and fetched TheBaby from day care. Was totally wiped, so I let her run amok while I semi-dozed on the couch. It worked out well for everybody. Around 7:15pm, I started getting dinner together. We ate, and went straight into bathtime -- no running around outside today, as everything was still pretty wet from an afternoon storm. TheWife arrived home just as we were reading stories prior to bedtime, so she ended up nursing TheBaby down to sleep.
Much Blosxom hacking in the evening; I figured out how to do several things that simplify my life quite a bit. Hopefully, if I can get the time in, I'll be able to switch things over sometime this weekend.
Bed around 11:30pm.
