Up around 6am. TheWife had a business day-trip, so I was Chief Baby Herder for the morning. Dinked around until she woke up, then got her dressed and hussled over to day care. Back at the house, had a quick work out, showered up, and headed to our co-location site.
Once I got to the co-lo, spent a good five hours getting various things set up, configured, tweaked, and generally on-line. This involved a lot of rebooting, thumb twidling, emailing, jacking in and out monitors and keyboards and consoles into various rack-mounted equipment, and a phone call or two. Good nerdy fun, although my feet didn't much appreciate five hours of standing on raised floor tiles.
Drove back home in the early rush hour, fighting the "didn't eat lunch" headache. Hit a drive though on the way. Arrived home, ate, and started catching up on work mail. Couple hours later, ate again -- dinner this time, with the family.
Rest of the evening spent arranging knick-knacks and hanging pictures and generally tweaking things in the downstairs part of the house. Bed around 11:30pm.
