Woke up around 6am. Read mail, read web, worked out (and read while doing so). Got TheBaby up. Showered and got ready and then gave TheBaby and TheWife an extra-big kiss, since they were headed out on a trip after breakfest.
Into work around 9:45am, thanks to some annoying traffic. Spent the morning catching up, and in an ad-hoc intranet meeting. Afternoon went towards the regular team meeting, and working on our cfengine deployment -- the latter continues to lurch forward slowly.
Home around 6pm, just long enough to feed the cats and throw on a button-down shirt, because at 6:30pm, I was at "Montessori 101", a little dog-and-pony show for parents of new students. The plan (at least at the moment) is that TheBaby will be starting at a nearby school in September. It was interesting to hear a bit about the philosophy and the methodology.
Following, grabbed a bite to eat and then came home and ate it. Forward motion sort of died at that point; I got stuck to the couch catching up on mail. Did a tiny bit of reading, and then cashed out early, around 10:30pm.
