Out of bed around 6:30am. Fairly normal morning, except that I took TheBigBrownVan to work instead of my car -- TheWife was leaving on an overnight trip later in the day, so I needed the van just in case I needed to drive TheBaby somewhere. Don't particularly like driving the van in heavy traffic; it's too big.
Into work around 9:30am. Had a fairly productive day -- perhaps because the first thing I did in the morning was make a list of things that I needed to do today. I liked this approach so much that I made a list for tomorrow right before I left. Most of the day went towards defining projects, goals, and deadlines. The first of those was pretty much already done, but the second was mainly in my head, and the third essentially nonexistant -- so it was good to get something down. I didn't quite make it all the way through the project list, but I can hopefully finish up before the middle of the week.
Headed home around 4:30pm. Fetched TheBaby from the day care. Played on the swings for a while, and then headed on home. I caught up on mail while TheBaby caught up on toys. Talked to TheWife on the phone, had dinner around 7pm, then went for a walk around the 'hood. Bath and story lead naturally to bed.
Once TheBaby was down, I worked on adding content to my newest crazy idea. I was more than a little hampered by my ISP's DNS refusing to work about 75% of the time. I'm pondering adding "setup caching DNS server" to my todo list; that would have seen me through the worst of the problem. Ho hum.
Bed around 11:30pm.
