Today was the day we started heading back home. We got off to a rather late start, not getting on the road until around 10am. And since the first thing we did was head up to Topeka to pick up some gifts for people back home, we didn't really get on the road until after noon. (We figured we might as well have lunch too...)
Almost ten hard-driving (but otherwise unremarkable) hours later, we rolled into Corydon, Indiana, on the outskirts of Louisville. Checked into our second-choice hotel (Holiday Inn Express was full up), read a bit of mail over the free wireless connection, and then tucked in for the evening, around midnight.
