Up at 5:45am. yawn Boringly typical morning.
Into work around 9:45am. Caught up on mail. Walked over to the bank to deposit some checks. Bank system crashed part way through my transactions, so I get to go back tomorrow. Whee.
Out to lunch with a colleague, to discuss cluster implementations. Didn't actually discuss them that much, but an enjoyable time nonetheless. Give him a tour of our data center when we got back on campus. "It's so clean and neat!", he said.
Back to work around 1pm. Bunch of cfengine work in the afternoon. Ran out and picked up dinner, then spent a good couple hours doing ticket review and mail review and all that sort of stuff. Should have continued on and done planning review, but decided to come home instead.
Got home just in time to read TheBaby a story before she went to bed ("But that yottle in the bottle? Some are friendly, some are NOT.") Good intentions of getting some more work done lapsed into a bit of recreational reading, and then a partial mail sweep. Ho hum.
Bed around 11:30pm.
