Up at 5:30am -- extra early, because TheWife had a business meeting down in the wilds of The Hater State, and since she was getting up... Hit the bike; progressive up to 45 minutes today. Whee. Showered up, read some mail, and waited for TheBaby to wake up so I could take her to day care.
Finally ended up rousting TheBaby around 9am. Got her changed, washed, dressed, and over to day care in short order. Into work around 9:45am.
Utterly crap day. It wasn't a full moon, so somebody must have slipped eau d'dumbass in the water or something. The less said the better, but it was a longer-than-usual eight hour shift.
Home around 6pm. Crashed out on the couch for a tiny bit. TheWife was wiped too, so we ordered dinner in. Proved to be less than relaxing, as our usual food outsource has decided to implement a completely bogus 3% surcharge for use of anything other than cash. Curiously, after TheWife pointed out to the phone person that this was bogus, our order ended up being screwed up. Not really a good experience, and I think TheWife is planning on calling back today to register her displeasure.
Relatively relaxing evening after the mess of dinner. Started backfilling older weblog posts; hope to be done with that in a month or two. Looking at your old HTML is more embarrasing than looking at old pictures from your youth.
Bed around 11:30pm.
