Another work week underway. Up at 5:45. Restarted the progressive, so a 30 minute workout. Left a bit late, due to D., so not into work until 9:45am or so. Pointed D. towards the Metro, and got down to business.
After about an hour of mail catchup and planning, headed out to the colo. Did a couple hours of work out there -- mainly some machine verification, and some hardware removal -- then went back in to the office. While at the colo, realized that part of my planned work wasn't going to be possible, so did some brainstorming with a coworker to figure out how to accomplish the goal at hand. Eventually came up with a plan, and spent the next hour or so coding it up, testing it, and deploying it. With that in place, we suddenly had cfengine functionality out at the colo, and so I went on and set that up.
Dinner break was around then, I think. After that, worked on into the evening, setting up this and that and making a full email and ticket sweep. A fairly productive 13 hour day, even if 1.5 hours of it was shuttling back and forth to the colo.
Home around 11:30pm. In bed just before midnight.
